Swami Sarvalokanandaji Maharaj is a senior monk of The Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission. He is a widely read scholar and a popular speaker on Vedanta philosophy, propagating the Universal message of Sri Ramakrishna Parahamsa and Swami Vivekananda. Swami Sarvalokananda embraced monastic life, joining the Holy Order at its Kankhal (Haridwar) Branch way back in 1973 where he served for 12 years where he was deeply involved in Spiritual practice and the Medical Service of the Ramakrishna Mission Hospital. Later, Swamiji’s services were required at the Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan, Kolkata, the largest Medical institution of The Ramakrishna Mission in India. He served the institution with singular distinction for 22 long years, the first ten years as its Assistant Secretary and last twelve as its Secretary.  In 2001, he was invited to give a talk on “Bio-medical Waste Management” by Indian Doctors Association in Bangkok. He also delivered the lectures on “Science and Religion” in Singapore and Malaysia.  In 2002 he was specially invited to speak on the subject “Spirituality for Effective Health Care” by The British Hospital Association based in Edinburgh, Scotland.  In 2003, while serving The Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan, Swamiji was invited by the Columbia University to speak on the subject “Health Care Management”.  He also delivered a series of lectures on “Service of Humanity in the light of Vedanta Philosophy” in Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Centres such as Vivekananda Vedanta Society of Chicago, Vedanta Society-St. Louise, Ramakrishna Vedanta Society - Boston, Vedanta Society of Southern California-Hollywood etc. spread across U.S.A. He served as the Head of the Allahabad Centre of the Order for a short time. Swami Sarvalokananda is currently serving as the Head of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Mumbai, where he conducts discourses every week, one in Hindi on “Vachanamrit” - The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna and the other in English on “The Bhagvat Gita”, both of which are widely popular. In addition, he is regularly invited by Educational and Management institutions all over India to speak to students and youth on wide ranging topics such as Value Education, Self Awareness, Self Management, Personal Development etc. Recently he conducted full day seminar on “Bringing Spirituality to Corporate World”, where many Spiritual and Corporate Leaders participated.
