GCSS 2014 - A Curtain Raiser
As the month of October draws closer at the Pyramid Valley International, everyone awaits the excitement. Global Congress of spiritual Scientists (GCSS) is a four day residential conference at Pyramid Valley, held by world class masters. This year at the 7th GCSS, sessions will be held by various masters from Australia, Russia, USA, Switzerland and India. Here's a quick look at what you can expect...
Brahmarshi Patriji, Founder of Pyramid Spiritual Societies Movement, who inspires the event and envisioned it, will be speaking on the 'Science of meditation'. It was his thought to bring the 'Global Masters' on one common platform, from which all seekers can benefit abundantly. This has successfully brought this event into its seventh year.
From USA, Mr. Lama Surya Das is one of the foremost Western Buddhist meditation teachers and scholars. He is the author of best selling books. The Dalai Lama affectionately calls him “the American Lama”. He has spent over forty years studying Zen, Vipassana, Yoga, and Tibetan Buddhism with many of the great masters of Asia, among them, some of the Dalai Lama's own teachers. He is an authorized lama in the Tibetan Buddhist order, a leading spokesperson for Buddhism and contemporary spirituality, a translator, poet, meditation master and spiritual activist. He is the author of the international bestselling Awakening trilogy: Awakening the Buddha Within, Awakening to the Sacred and Awakening the Buddhist Heart, as well as the recently released Buddha Standard Time, and nine other books. He will speak on “Shared Spirituality: Co-Meditations for Awakening Together in a Fragmented Age.”
Jasmuheen, the Lifetime President of GCSS, from Australia who is an artist, Ambassador of Peace, International lecturer, author and leading authority on Pranic Living. This very accomplished master offers programs and projects through the Embassy of Peace to improve personal and global health. Jasmuheen's main service agenda is the raising of consciousness to co-create a healthy, harmonious world. She will speak on 'The PURE LOVE CHANNEL and its ability to heal and nourish all.' A meditator for over 42 years, Jasmuheen, specialises in inner plane journeys using the alchemical meditative process which allows people to merge with their own true nature.
From Switzerland comes Marianne Sebastien who is a musician, opera singer and voice therapist, as well as the founder of Voix Libres, an association which fights against the exploitation of children working in the streets, mines, and prisons of Bolivia. Join the 'Singing workshop' with Marianne which promises to be a voyage to the carefree child within us to sing out the strength and thankfulness for being. You will practice vocal exercises, work on breathing techniques, perform improvisations, dances and religious music which can leave good memories.
Nina Brown is from USA, She is introducing 'A New S.T.A.R. Philosophy for the Fascinated Observer 'for the first time in India.
