Without even being aware of it or realizing it, we are all slaves. We are slaves of our mind, ego and body. We are enslaved by desires; by negative thoughts, misery, and negative emotions; by people and above all, the myth. Therefore, we need liberation from all this to start with. And finally, we need Mukti, Liberation from the Karmic cycle of death and birth, from Samsara, so that we can be united with the Divine. This is true Liberation.

The first thing we need Liberation from is the mind. It is the mind that makes us miserable, stress and worried. Like a monkey it jumps from thought to thought. Therefore, we have to kill the mind. To kill the mind, we have to still the mind. We have to be in silence. We have to bring down the MTR, the Mental Thought Rate, from 50 thoughts a minute to 40, 30, 20 and finally one thought per minute. It is in the state of thoughtless, consciousness that we experience true peace and bliss and thus, can be liberated from all negativity. When there is no mind, the intellect rules and there is peace. If we cut the tail of the monkey mind - the EY that is Ever Yelling, Ever Yearning, it becomes a monk. Once we are liberated from all this toxicity, and if we truly seek God, if we evolve on our spiritual path, then we can attain Liberation, Mukti, Moksha.

It is in the state of consciousness, that we can be enlightened with the truth — that we are not the body, mind, ego. We are the Soul, the Atman. Self-realization can lead to God-realization as we experience and realize the power of the Divine in everything and everywhere. God is not God. God is SIP, the Supreme Immortal Power that is omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient. God is everywhere, in everything. Only God is, there is nothing else. If we are in Yoga, in union with God, if we truly yearn for God, if we love God more than anything else in the world, self- realization and God realization will give us true Liberation. But it all starts with a quest, a spiritual journey. We must ask questions and investigate our findings. We must not blindly follow the herd but fly like a bird. Only then will we realize our true self and God. Then, at the moment of death, we will attain Liberation. If we do not realize the truth, we will be born again on earth to redeem our karma and inevitably, we will suffer.
