I want you to answer this honestly:

Q) What percentage of the last issue of Speaking Tree have you read ?

a) 70 % ?
b) 80 % ?
or maybe you have read it all two times.

That is good. But how much of it have you applied in your life ?

An article recently published in Speaking Tree claimed that there is a growing trend among readers to read "Spiritual Books" and a lot of publishing houses and authors have jumped in the wagon to get their material published.
I too recognized this among my fellows, and it really pleases me.
What I want to emphasize is that many who read such texts, just read it for pleasure. They JUST read it.

They do not try to imbibe, or apply what is being said (or written).
I agree such people are better off than those who do not even TRY to understand such matters but

So to be a true seeker, it is more important to bring out these "good values" from inside.
Reading is only a test to insure that the path we are following will lead us in a good direction.
...That our path is not evil.
...That similar paths are being followed by a group of like-minded indeviduals (gurus) whom we respect.
