Dear Friends,
Recently,I read one article in one of the leading newspaper where Sunny Leon said " I am at peace with what I am at this stage of life”. Like every other reader I read the article out of sheer curiosity. I must admit when I clicked on the article there was smile on my face and I as I started reading somehow I felt that the way life was presented by Sunny Leone was quite simple.
I could have criticized everything she spoke but somehow in the heart of my heart I felt what she was saying is absolutely true. We struggle throughout our life to prove to the world and never follow our instinct and yes once we follow our instincts and fulfill them then the next feeling is to achieve more .To achieve which is realistic and does not give temporary pleasure. Like many other teenager this girl must have also followed her dreams but after reaching one stage in carrier she also felt the vacuum that any achievement carries. There is much more in life than pleasure or for that matter Achievement .Life is a big celebration where we all make idols and then break them. One thing which is taboo is one context is perfectly normal for others. Yet the ultimate eternal fulfillment is always wanted/looked for in life. Probably this is what made the son of a emperor to move to the jungle in search of that TRUTH and made him Buddha or enlightened. I remember my mother once telling me one very famous story related to Tulsidas. One night when it was raining heavily and Tulsidas crossed the flooded river to meet his wife, She refused to entertain him and opened his EYES by saying that had he been so desperate to meet GOD he would have easily achieved it.
The story of Sunny Leone also reminds me one of the 24 Gurus of Sage Dattatray who made a wanton lady as his GURU and learnt a great lesson in life .That lesson was " Do whatever but do it perfectly and desperately". All goals in life are achieved by this. As proclaimed by Lord in Gita "Abhyasena tu kounteya vairagyena cha gruhyate". Vairagya or detachment is KEY factor in karma theory.
