Time and space are models by which we think and not conditions in which  we live." – Albert Einstein

Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one – Albert Einstein

The most incomprehensible thing about the universe is that it is comprehensible – Albert Einstein

The more the universe seems comprehensible, the more it also seems pointless. – Steven Weinberg

Not only does God play dice with the world, but also he sometimes throws them where they cannot be even seen. – Stephen Hawking

Accepting the essential inscrutability of existence, in any case, is surely preferable to its opposite: capitulating to the tyranny of intransigent belief and faith. -  Blaisé Pascal.

We need to make a lot of presumptions and assumptions in order to establish the concept of existence and understand the same. Still we feel far short of understanding the world because of the fact that existence is out and out an illusion and a making of the mind and there is no reality or truth beyond mind. – Unknown

The universe is a mystery meant to be accepted as such and not an entity meant to be understood or explained. - Unknown

A logical analysis of existence reveals that existence of any entity is an activity of the mind, an attribute of the mind and an annex and manifestation of the mind. Ultimately it is the mind that accepts existence as reality. As such it will be illogical and untenable even to imagine the existence of any entity without the mind. It follows logically that this universe cannot exist without the mind and the mind also cannot exist without the universe. Thus it emerges that the mind as well as the universe are one and the same, but appear to have different formats. Space, Time and Matter are convenient concepts or models evolved by the mind to make existence a reality acceptable to the mind. Time is purely a concept of the mind. The intelligence and memory of the mind causes the existence of time in form of past, present and future, while the truth is that existence is transient, momentary and changes from moment to moment. At one moment it appears and at another moment it is gone.

While the normal concept is that there is one universe and several minds are observing it, the truth is that there are several universes corresponding to the several observing minds. The usual as well as traditional view about universe is that this universe had been existing all the time without any beginning, in some form or other.  When an individual with a perceiving mind arrives on the scene, he concludes that he is a part of the universe, that this universe had been existing without any beginning and that it will also continue to exist eternally in future even after he is gone. This is a fundamentally wrong conclusion and a false concept that breeds several false concepts like a soul surviving death, previous birth, next birth, hell and heaven, creation, karma etc.

We are deluded into thinking that this universe is one and the same for countless minds existing in it. However the truth is that the universe and the mind are one and the same and as such  there needs to be countless universes as there are countless minds. When an individual dies, his mind also vanishes along with the universe pertaining to the mind. But the universe continues to exist for the surviving  observer because of his mind.  It is needless to say that the concept of truth and reality necessarily varies from mind to mind.

This philosophy of transient existence of any entity is not acceptable to many because it does not answer questions like how and why the universe came on to existence, what is the purpose and meaning behind it and what is its ultimate destiny. But these questions are fallacious and untenable because they are based on the false premise that space and time exist as absolute entities and can exist independent of the mind. When there are no presumptions, no question can actually arise.
