Beloved ones...

We are Precious..

We are Invaluable...

Why do we feel dissatisfied? Why do we want to please others? Why do we seek worthiness, love, from others instead of feeling worthy our self at the first place? It is most important to value our self first before being valued by others. To love oneself before expecting to be loved by others. Remember the lines from this beautiful song- 'doosron ko jay se pehle, KHUD ko jay karein'...

It doesn't mean being selfish, but it is just a way of accepting oneself and having a self- worth. Let us not confuse self worth and esteem with ego!

Each one of us has some unique quality. There are few ways that can help us to explore and capitalize our talent. I noted down the few points I could remember. You can add your own ways too, I will appreciate that :)

1. Think about what one loves to do. What have we always wanted to try but haven’t yet? What do we see others doing that we wish we were doing? The best tip for discovering our hidden talent is simply to think about what we love to do!

2. Being creative- allowing our wings to fly- drawing, painting- it doesn't matter if we don't know how to!

Singing, dancing, rejoicing- if it is difficult in the beginning, you try to act so! Gradually you will find a Celebration following you soon- most of it is a matter of our mind and choice- we feel pessimistic, hence all things around us appear gloomy!

3. Taking out some time for our self- it is difficult in today's rat-race to find some time, but we don't have to wait for a long break for that, each day can offer us plenty of opportunity when we can steal a beautiful moment for our self! While in office, during our lunch or coffee break, just detaching our self from the work- load for that small time- it is our moment!

That 15- 20 minutes can be rejuvenating if we learn to appreciate our food, and body! Loving every bite, feeling grateful for the food (most of our time goes wasted in complaining about how bad the food was, or why this item was made and that item wasn't made) There are millions who don't even get a morsel of food a day! We are very very lucky!

4. Whenever we think about all the things we did not get in life, we can also remember the beautiful things we got! That instills GRATITUDE...

5. Not comparing our self with anyone else. There can be no comparison- because there is only one 'ME'.. neither superior to anyone, nor inferior, so how can there be any comparison? And it is worth remembering, the grass on the other side always appears greener. It may be surprising that someone else may be finding us at a better position in life!

6. Trying to reduce our complaints- we don't even know whether we will come back to this planet or not- we will not be given the same body, and may not even have the same family, friends, circumstances etc. Leave alone next life, even this moment will not come back! Trying to cherish every moment with our dear ones- our friends, colleagues, family and closed persons. I have observed that most of us treat our servants, workers rudely or look down upon them.. I have been charmed upon the kind of respect they bestow on us, if we learn to talk politely and lovingly to them! After all, they too are human beings..

7. Smiling- Nothing works like a sincere smile- it does good to us by activating the element of happiness in us, and also gives Joy to people around you!

8. Cultivating a good sense of Humor- learning to laugh at oneself! All of us have heard, smiling and laughing are infectious!

In the end, remember that We are a store- house of immense talent and potential.. We are a sensitive Being..

Valuing our self..

Not seeking value from others! Others will start valuing us, once we value our self.. we certainly do not like to sit with a person who is always complaining about everything around and about him? Then how will others love us, if we degrade our self and our esteem?

Trusting our self..

Not seeking trust from others!Others will trust us, once we begin trusting our self!

Thanks for reading..

Lots of love..
Richa..
