Is it wise to run away from the opposite sex?
By Bipin Chandra Padhy on 29/05/15No , we should not run away from opposite sex for if we do so Maya will chase us terribly......the best method is to see the self in all forms and remember that Atman is sexless....mental repetition of the formula ' ekah Satchidananda atma' will give us sufficient strength.

The queried thread is very much interesting to read. Left to me , I would approach the query with a bit of reservation. While a husband should not run away from his wife and vice versa or his/her mother a person must definitely MOVE away from the opposite sex after the 'official' task is over and should therreafter run away her. This statement is made not only from the point of sexual thoughts but with the ultimate view to see that the member of the opposite sex should be seen as an equal ATMAN and that one should not cause any harm in any manner to the opposite sex since the opposite sex is only biologically and pschologically different but with the same qualites of ATMAN.
Why to run-away ? what for ?... R v not competent to face such creation of Almighty ? Be Rational, Honest without any fear bcoz Almighty always balance if we follow Law of Nature.
Treat every human being with respect, and meet everyone on the common ground of humanity. Be free from likes and dislikes, if possible remember that God is in all.
There will be a few men/boys who would want to run away from the females. Most of the men/boys want the company of opposite sex and after a certain period want to have sexual relations too if they are not related. But with the modern draconian laws that are against men only, most would just prefer to have nothing to do with any females, some not even with their wives too. The laws are so convoluted and too much one sided that there is always a fear, irrespective of one's age and status, when they approach the opposite sex. There are stories of many men who are a harassed lot. Sure there is definitely some men who have done much harm to the ladies but not all men the same. Many women and the law treats as if all men are the same - predators of the opposite sex, rapists, violent, eve teasers, dowry seekers, only the ones involved in domestic viloence and many more.
