Zoom from Womb to Tomb

Look around you. You will find people are so busy, but doing what? They may be doing things that don’t matter, but they are still busy: on the telephone, on the computer, talking, and walking. The first thing that comes to my mind is that “What are they so busy about?” Most people are busy creating a better life and creating happiness. They have not utilized their time in the single most important pursuit of life: the pursuit of finding their true purpose in this world. People don’t know who they are and why they are in this world, but they are so busy with their so-called responsibilities. They are so busy from birth to death that they just zoom from womb to tomb. Is this the true purpose of life?

Were we born to just rush from womb to tomb? Of course not! But we have no time to think about the purpose of our life... We are just hurrying through life and worrying through life. We don’t realize that life is not just to run, but also to have some fun and get something worthwhile done!

Therefore, don’t just run through life. Stop! Understand who you are, why you are here, who brought you here, where must you go, what are you doing, and why are you doing. If you keep doing what you are doing, will you get to where you want to go? If you get to where you want to go, will you be satisfied? Before being so busy, ask these simple yet profound questions to yourself. We are so busy trying to make an earning and a living that we forget truly to live. Stop! Ask yourself: what makes you busy? Then, take the next step!
