Yogi Dr. Amrit Raj is a fourth generation Ayurvedic Doctor and Certified 500 Hours Yoga Teacher from Yoga Alliance, USA. Together with his family Dr. Rakesh Agarwal, Dr. Neelam Agarwal and Dr Arjun Raj, they run the famous ayurvedic treatment center Arogyadham in Muzaffarnagar (between Delhi and Rishikesh) in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. Yogi Dr. Amrit Raj along with his parents Dr Rakesh Agarwal and Dr Neelam Agarwal has been rewarded by her Excellency Smt Pratibha Patil in honor of Scientific Research Work done and services for the welfare of mankind at Rashtrapati Bhawan in 2010. Yogi Dr. Amrit Raj is the owner and publisher of the Arogyadham Magazine, Indias most popular family health magazine. Published in Hindi, the magazine is read worldwide with regular contributions from Yogi ji. In addition, there were 33 episodes of Arogyadham EK Vardan (Health Boom) shown on television in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe as well in India in which the Arogyadham family presented ayurvedic and yogic principles for healing from various physical & mental disorders. Yogi Dr. Amrit Raj has visited and given lectures, conducted seminars, and retreats on ayurveda and yoga in such places as the United Nations, Various Hindu Temples, Yoga Studios, Ashrams, Spas, including the Mayflower Inn, and colleges. He is an Honorary visiting professor in Dinacharya Ayurvedic Institute in New York. Yogi Dr. Amrit Raj has been featured on relaxdoc.com giving a stress management series to oncologists in the United States. Outside India, he provides spiritual retreats and Yoga Camps only, whereas, in India he provides spiritual and ayurvedic lifestyle consultations at Arogyadham Center. In 2008, he was the key speaker in Punarnava Ayurveda & Yoga International Conference. He is also the speaker at international Yoga Festival, Rishikesh. Yogi Dr. Amrit Raj has conducted various Yoga & Ayurveda workshops, sessions for; Supreme Court and High Court lawyers and judges. Delhi Police Academy Indian Law Institute Royal Families of Europe President of India Bollywood and Hollywood actors Yogi Dr. Amrit Raj is the founder of Maa Yoga Ashram in Tapovan, Rishikesh which provides regular yoga and Ayurvedic retreats. He is also chairman of Maa Research Foundation which is working globally for the welfare of mankind through Yoga & Ayurveda workshops. He is trustee of Arogyadham Global AIDS Research Foundation which takes care of HIV patients free of cost.
